Don Woerner, DVM
Dr. Woerner and his wife Bobbie began Laurel East Veterinary Service in 1973 on the same eight acre tract of land where they are located today. At one time Dr. Woerner spent several hours a day on the road going from place to place treating livestock and horses. The reduction in family farms since then has brought change to Laurel East. As a clinic, we have discontinued livestock and horses, although Dr. Woerner still does some livestock work for selected clients. Now his focus is on companion animals in the clinic and our clients bring their family pets to us. Though the clientele has changed somewhat Dr. Woerner’s commitment to his patients is as strong as always.
